This class is designed for individuals wishing to strengthen the back, relax neck & shoulders, tone the extremities (hands arms, legs & feet), bring flexibility to joints and build abdominal/core stability. Through a series of slow stretches and poses based on proper body alignment; using props for support and comfort, we will move through all areas of the body to gently find opening and make space in the body by lengthening muscles and gently stretching joints through movement. Bi-products of this practice include improved breath awareness encouraging stress reduction and enhancing the ability to relax.
We practice being “present” in our bodies and working within their given limits to stretch and strengthen the body while balancing our energies. This yoga practice is open to all level of practitioners; no previous yoga experience is required.

This class combines vinyasa, restorative yoga, and breathwork to create an energizing yet relaxing practice. In the vinyasa flow, we will move through invigorating postures that link movement with breath, developing strength, stability, and flexibility. We will then move into deeply restorative postures, to support and gently stretch the body. This harmonizing practice will help to rebalance the body, mind, and nervous system. All levels, including beginners, are welcome and will find this class accessible.

Poses you will learn are the same as many of the postures you will experience in flow classes. The pace is slower allowing you to work more on the alignment of each pose, while focusing on the breath. Variations and modifications are given for both easier and more challenging poses. Each class will vary as each teacher brings their own unique style to the class. All levels are accommodated in this class.
Hot Yoga opens the body with breath, perspiration, and effective asana engagement to work every area of the anatomy while calming and focusing the mind.

Pilates focus is on developing strength and flexibility through the core of the body; the back, abdomen, hips and shoulders. Mat based exercises will be presented at multiple levels allowing the student to choose to work at a level appropriate for them. Classes will include seated, laying and balance exercises that integrate the breath with fluid, controlled movement to engage the body and mind.
Length: 60 minutes

Links traditional Hatha postures into a sequence of movements that flow naturally from one to the next. This eclectic class will explore variations of sun salutations, standing and seated poses, along with body balancing. Modifications will be provided for postures to enhance flexibility, alignment, and strength to make this class accessible for all. Connecting the breath with the movement of the body during the “flow” of yoga and deepening into the “stretch” allows energy to flow and provides relaxation for the busy mind.
