climb academy (ages 4 to 17)

Established in 2010, Climb Academy at Climber's Rock is a developmental program for youth age 4 to 17. Using the sport of indoor rock climbing, our coaches teach valuable and age-appropriate lessons to help youth enjoy the sport and develop healthy living habits.

Weekly instructed lessons explore new skills, climbing terminology, movement, technique, gym etiquette, and more. Our youth coaches engage with participants and encourage teamwork and sportsmanship through exciting games and challenges. Activities are designed to build confidence and introduce participants to new friends in a safe and welcoming environment.

Like riding a bike, putting on skates, and jumping in a pool, we believe the lessons learned at an early age through rock climbing contribute to happier, healthy living.

Programs available:

  • Academy Tykes (ages 4 to 7) $105 + HST / month

  • Climb Academy (ages 8 to 13) $150 + HST / month

  • Varsity Climbing Club (ages 14 to 17) Free with gym membership or day pass

Team (ages 12 to 19)

Team CR is a youth climbing program (Youth C to Jr) dedicated to training the next generation of climbers. Our athletes develop the technique, strength, and confidence required for competitive climbing in a fun and rigorous team environment.

Team CR athletes are ultimately encouraged to progress through the levels of our Academy program before joining the team, however, climbers who demonstrate a high level of climbing ability and interest in competition may be invited to join our Competitive Team.

If you’re interested in becoming a member of the Team CR, you can participate in the Competitive Team Training Camp if you have experience competing. For those with no competition experience, you can register for the New Competitors Training Camp.
